Snowy Weather Prompts Rescheduling of ODU Events

After two weeks of inclement weather, several events planned for February at Old Dominion University have been rescheduled.

Tech evangelist, author, venture capitalist and entrepreneur Guy Kawasaki will now visit Old Dominion University on Monday, March 30. He will participate in two events as part of ODU's celebration of its entrepreneurial spirit.

The appearances, rescheduled from February 18, include a speech at 12:30 p.m. to the Economics Club of Hampton Roads at the Norfolk Sheraton Waterside, and the President's Lecture Series at 6:30 p.m. in the Big Blue Room of the Ted Constant Convocation Center.

The ODU Presents: Lytton J. Musselman Natural History Lecture, will feature Steve Haddock, chief scientist at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute and adjunct professor at the University of California, Santa Cruz

Haddock's lecture has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, April 16 in the North Café of ODU's Webb University Center. Please see HERE for more information.

The Musselman Natural History Lecture is a continuing series led by Musselman, the Mary Payne Hogan professor of botany at ODU.

The series was launched with the help of a substantial gift from ODU alumni Michael and Sue Pitchford. A former student of Musselman's, Michael Pitchford is president and chief executive officer of Community Preservation and Development Corp., in Washington, D.C.
