President Broderick Featured in Inside Leadership Cover Story

Old Dominion President John R. Broderick is the subject of a cover story in the winter 2015 edition of Inside Leadership.

Mike Herron, publisher of Inside Business, said President Broderick was "a natural choice" for the magazine's feature.

"There has always been an enduring interest about Old Dominion University in our community, yet John's tireless efforts to help improve the institution, as well as his devotion to its people; the students, faculty and staff, has steadily cemented ODU's mark throughout the region," Herron said. "Although he shunned the attention, I am so grateful he finally allowed us to spend time sharing his great work. The profile really exemplifies successful leadership."

Inside Leadership is a quarterly magazine produced by Inside Business, a weekly publication focused on Hampton Roads business. Inside Leadership is distributed to a statewide audience of leaders and others with an interest in the Commonwealth's business community.

The magazine's articles explore topics of leadership through the personal views of featured subjects.

In the current issue, President Broderick is characterized as "a transformational leader." The seven-page article discusses his background, leadership style, accomplishments at Old Dominion and vision for the University's future.
