History has been preserved through the art of storytelling since the beginning of time. Bards were the first keepers of lore, long before the details were documented by writers and artists.

In the midst of this year's coronavirus pandemic, Old Dominion University assistant professor Brittany Harris is taking a cue from Shakespeare, who weaved accounts of the bubonic plague into some of his most well-known plays, to archive history.
