News Release: Virginia Launches Alternative Application for State Financial Aid for Previously Ineligible Students
BEGINNING 2022-2023 aid year: Virginians who are undocumented and nonimmigrants, have Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals status (DACA ) may qualify for Virginia State financial aid. Please review the attached flier by clicking on the link to familiarize yourself with the application process and who may qualify. **Students eligible to complete a FAFSA should not complete the Virginia Application for State Aid (VASA), they should complete the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FASFA), only.
