Honoring Professor William Owings, Department of Educational Foundations & Leadership, who has served 21 years at ODU focused on teacher quality, principal quality, and finance and student achievement. Dr. Owings is completing a 50-year career in education having served as a public school teacher, high school principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent of schools. He is a distinguished Fellow of the National Education Finance Academy.
