Program Highlights

  • Keynote Address by Anna Golden -- Anna has been a teacher-researcher at Sabot at Stony Point since 1996. In 1995 while working as a sign painter she was given a copy of "The Hundred Languages of Children" by her sister-in-law, who said "you might be interested in this." Enchanted, Anna found Sabot after searching for a school where she could teach in that way. She has a BFA in photography and an MAE. Anna speaks and writes about teaching, children and art, and leads professional development workshops for schools and daycare centers. Most recently you can find her thinking in the books Our Inquiry, Our Practice, Nature Education with Young Children and Nature Preschools and Forest Kindergartens. Anna's Atelierista blog is read by people around the world. http://atelierista-anna.blogspot.com/
