Think. Make. Share.
Creativity, invention, and innovation are values championed as central pillars of an ODU engineering education.
The Engineering Makerspace and Invention Center (EMIC) provides a safe, inclusive, state-of-the art environment for students to invent, design, prototype, build and test. This free-to-use environment promotes interdisciplinary collaboration for all students at the Batten College of Engineering & Technology.
At the EMIC, we push the boundaries of innovation, solve the problems of the day, create jobs of the future, and have a direct and positive impact on the industries our students and faculty serve.
