Shahrooz Moosavizadeh

Dr. Shahrooz Moosavizadeh is a Professor of Mathematics and Director of the Spartans All-Inclusive Learning (SAIL) Program at Norfolk State University. He has more than 30 years of experience in teaching and revising the course materials and curriculum for Calculus I, II, III and Differential Equations courses. He has been awarded Outstanding Teacher and Advisor of the year five times at NSU Math Department. His current research expertise include Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations, Fluid Dynamics, and Magnetohydrodyanmics. He has participated in various seminars and workshops on mathematics teaching, active learning, and inquiry based teaching. He has served as the Principal Investigator in the NSU SUMMIT-P team.
