I'm from the Midwest and live in Norfolk, working with local theatre companies, Hampton Roads Pride, and I am the faculty advisor for ODU OUT.

Research Interests
Along with performance, combat, and interdisciplinary studies, Ryan specializes in the area of Asian & Oceanic theatre. He is in production of a documentary about My Neightbor Totoro and the underlying themes of death and assault in the film.
