MPA Advisory Board Mandate & Focus
The main purpose of the ODU Master of Public Administration Advisory Board is to promote the ODU MPA mission of providing a high-quality public service education. Board members will provide their expertise to assist our Program in meeting the needs of our students and the ever-changing workforce. Board members will serve as agents of engagement for students, alumni, and the community through creating meaningful connections and productive networking opportunities. Board members will help faculty to identify current trends and best practices in business, government, and non-profit organizations, in the areas of public policy, budgeting and financial management, diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, human resources, contracting, and program evaluation.
