CCPO & MARI Seminar Series - April 11, 2016

The final CCPO and MARI seminar for the spring semester will be presented on Monday, April 11 by Dr. Kirstin Dow from the University of South Carolina. Dr. Dow is the lead investigator for the Carolinas Integrated Sciences and Assessments (CISA), which is one of the 11 NOAA-supported Regional Integrated Sciences and Assessments (RISA) projects. The RISA centers support research teams that are intended to expand and build capacity to prepare for and adapt to climate variability and change. The CISA focuses on developing information,
tools, and resources to support climate-related decision making in the Carolinas. Dr. Dow's seminar will provide information on how this is done and communicated to stakeholders and decision makers.
