- Local artists, critics, curators and educators discussed the influences and inspirations for Norfolk's various arts scenes. The public forum on the "Norfolk Aesthetic" explored whether there can be something akin to a Norfolk style of art. Panelists included: Teresa Annas (former art critic for The Virginian-Pilot), Fred Bayersdorfer (Assistant Dean for the Arts at ODU), Karen Rudd (manager of cultural affairs at Selden Arcade), and John Rudel (curator of exhibitions at Virginia Wesleyan College) NOTABLES: 69 attendees
