The Monarchs Connect Call Center offers the following positions:
Monarch Advancement Student Supervisor
Promoted Internally. The Monarch Advancement Student Supervisor plays an important role in the continuing development of Old Dominion University's calling program. Student Supervisors should be prepared to gain an understanding of the mission and goals of the Dominion Fund. Student Supervisors will have supervisory control of each calling session. They will be responsible for managing, motivating, monitoring, evaluating, training and supporting Calling Center Representatives. Reporting to the Assistant Director of the Dominion Fund.
Monarch Advancement Ambassador
Act as a fundraising representative for Old Dominion University, contacting ODU alumni, parents, students, and friends by telephone with specific goal of securing financial contributions to the Dominion Fund, updating prospect records, and providing current information to friends and alumni.
Pay Rate
Starting at $8.00 per hour. Pay rate is based on your success!
Hours
Hours are flexible and set for the entire semester for your convenience.
Training: Ambassadors must complete an initial 4 week training period with 2 days of mandatory training.
Sunday 1:30 pm - 5:00 PM and 3:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Monday - Thursday 4:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Ambassadors must work three shifts per week with one shift being on Sunday.
Attendance Policy
Attendance is required and affects the success of the Monarchs Connect Call Center.
*MCCC follows the University Schedule concerning closing and holidays.
**Optional calling during finals week.
