Dear Campus Community,
Over the past eight months, after collecting input from numerous on- and off-campus groups, and analyzing space needs, the Master Plan Steering Committee and many colleagues across campus worked diligently to create a plan that reflects the physical embodiment of Old Dominion University's academic, research, student life and athletic goals and vision over the next 20 years, and beyond. I am eager to now share this draft plan, its concepts and the objectives it aims to accomplish in a series of public forums and departmental meetings.
While many sessions are still being finalized, we will meet over the course of the next two months with faculty, students, individual colleges, each vice presidential area, and the community. Your input and feedback is very valuable and I encourage you to attend one of these sessions. A partial schedule is below; departmental meeting locations will be communicated directly to the department. As we confirm additional meetings, they will be announced on the Campus Master Plan website at www.odu.edu/masterplan.
