Old Dominion University honored Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with on-campus and virtual events on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Student groups marched from Hugo A. Owens House through the Quad to the Webb University Center. ODU's Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Nu Theta chapter and the Office of Intercultural Relations organized the march. Construction workers have started driving pylons for Old Dominion University's new Health Sciences Building. The $74.9 million, 126,387-square-foot facility will bring four programs under one roof. It is scheduled to open in 2023.
