A Picture is Worth...
The ninth "Her Melody Lingers On" concert, which benefited a scholarship commemorating Claire Cucchiari-Loring and her passion for music, was held Feb. 7. Cucchiari-Loring was a music major at ODU when she was killed in December 2006 by her ex-boyfriend a few months before she planned to graduate magna cum laude. "An Evening of Jazz Piano Duets" featured ODU music Professor John Toomey and acclaimed jazz pianist and producer Justin Kauflin, a former ODU student.
