Monarch Extra: Juggling, ‘House Hunters’ and more

Do you want to see alumnus Jon Norton perform one of his juggling acts?

Or how about a tour of the unusual house that alums Chantal and Nikita Logan bought when they were on "House Hunters" last year? (It's even got red corduroy walls in one room!)

Go to the April issue of Old Dominion University's interactive e-magazine, Monarch Extra, here. The issue exemplifies Monarch Extra's dynamic combination of words and images, with slide shows, moving type and other forms of animation.

You'll see and hear an automaton from the new Barry Art Museum playing the harp. You'll also be introduced to ODU's newest tradition, painting Dominion Rock, with eight colorful versions of the rock. And you'll meet "King David," the heroic son of an Old Dominion employee.

For two years in a row, Monarch Extra has received a Special Merit Award for "online innovation/experimentation" from the Southeastern district of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.
