ODU and LAVLE USA to Establish a $12 Million Marine Electric Propulsion Simulation Laboratory in Newport News
The project is "exactly the sort of collaborative research with which ODU wants to be affiliated," according to President John R. Broderick.

Foreman Field was once one of the grandest and largest stadiums in the commonwealth. It hosted big-time football teams such as Georgia, South Carolina and 1959 national champion Syracuse in the Oyster Bowl, and pro football exhibitions in which Joe Namath and Johnny Unitas played.
