Active-duty military members will pay $250 per credit hour, which is at least $100 less than the previous rate.

The Office of International Programs recently held its sixth annual International Photography Competition, which attracted entries from current and former members of the Old Dominion University community. Prizes were awarded to the top three photographs in each of five categories: flora and fauna, landscapes and scenes, lights and shadows, local people/local customs and monarch spirit.

Old Dominion University is always looking for ways in which professors of different disciplines can work together. Professor Mournir Laroussi, (left) electrical and computer engineering, and PH.D. student Hamid Razavi, mechanical and aerospace engineering, have found a way to generate a diffused plasma inside a chamber without applying any electrical power to the chamber. Since there are no electrodes inside the chamber, there is no contamination and no need for electrode replacement.
