Old Dominion University hosted the 10th Annual Hampton Roads Conference for Girls and Young Women, "Girls Rule the World," on Saturday, May 19, in Webb University Center. The conference provided a forum to explore the complex and challenging issues facing young women today. A Picture is Worth...

Old Dominion University graduate Tamika Bright hangs a shirt she painted as a part of The Clothesline Project. It is a 15-year-old national program to increase awareness of the impact of violence against women and provide an avenue for them to courageously break their silence. Old Dominion has participated for the past two years. The event was held in front of Perry Library on May 22.
