The sixth annual Education Day game, hosted by the Old Dominion University Lady Monarchs basketball team, drew a record crowd of more than 8,500. Students from 34 public schools in Norfolk filled ODU's Ted Constant Convocation Center to cheer on the team, which played Dartmouth's Big Green.
