Across Campus - A Photo Essay

This week's gallery features the Kids Cooking in the Classroom series, where the University's Aramark chefs made a recent visit to the Children's Learning & Research Center (CLRC) to teach the young students about various fruits and vegetables. The chefs also created a farmer's market in which the children could pick fruits and vegetables to take home. Photos by Chuck Thomas.

The reach of Monarch Pride, it would seem, knows no horizon. Here, pictured from Camp As Sayliyah, Qatar, are Jason Geise ('11), Christopher Valdez ('11), Omega Harris ('94), Phillip Daniele ('11), and Anthony Tesora ('12). All of these soldiers were commissioned through the ODU Army ROTC program. Thanks to the efforts of 1st Lt. Daniele, all of the soldiers received an ODU flag.
