Across Campus - A Photo Essay
ODU students, faculty and 90 fifth-graders from Jacox Elementary School in Norfolk recently learned about Black Currency Day at various campus locations through interactive discussions, poetry, art, trivia and black history lessons. Jennifer Kidd, a senior lecturer in the Darden College of Education, spearheaded the event to provide learning opportunities about prominent black Americans and racial inequalities that persist today.
