Virginia Wins $120.5 Million Resilience Grant Spearheaded by ODU

A proposal coordinated by Old Dominion University on behalf of the Commonwealth of Virginia and three Hampton Roads communities to help protect the region from the effects of recurrent flooding has received a multimillion-dollar award from the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Fresh from the holiday break, students were given the opportunity January 11-15 to cast votes for their preferred chair options to be used in the new Restaurant Commons, which is currently under construction and scheduled for opening this fall. Over the five-day period, students left 1,862 individual comments regarding the 26 chair selections.
