President John R. Broderick and the Monarch community took time to remember the victims of the 9-11 terrorist attacks during a service late last week on the steps of Webb University Center. During a Remembrance Walk that followed, University students, faculty and staff proceeded to the Norfolk Fire Department Station 7 where the President presented first responders with a plaque. Many of the participants took time afterward to help compile care packages, make paracord bracelets and write letters of support as part of a service project to benefit Operation Gratitude.
