Across Campus - A Photo Essay
Each year, from August 1-15, the folks in Facilities Management are responsible for the deep cleaning and maintenance of the University Village Apartments in preparation for new residents. This is a huge undertaking that requires a great amount of teamwork between the housing maintenance and housekeeping staffs. It takes over 100 people working together to get the job done in the short time available. This year, for the first time, a number of volunteers from Webb Housekeeping assisted - some of whom came off the night shift and worked another shift at the Village to help get this important work done. In addition, September Sanderlin, vice president of Human Resources; and Kathy Williamson, director of Human Resources for Employee Relations and Strategic Initiatives; volunteered for an afternoon to see what it was like.
