Walk A Mile

Across Campus - A Photo Essay

Each year, men and women across the nation participate in "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes: The International Men's March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence." The event is an opportunity to raise community awareness about sexualized violence against women. Here, this year's participants at Old Dominion University's event can be seen applying a dose of fun to help cure a serious societal problem. Photos by Chuck Thomas

More than 1,000 fans of the ODU Monarchs men's basketball team made the trip to New York City's Madison Square Garden, the "most famous arena in the world," this week as Old Dominion battled Stanford in the semifinals of the National Invitation Tournament.
