Economic Forecasting Project Predicts Slower Growth for Hampton Roads in 2015
While a solid year of growth is expected for the national economy, Old Dominion University's Economic Forecasting Project is predicting the economy in Hampton Roads will grow at a slower rate in 2015 than it did last year. The annual forecasts, traditionally a respected, accurate harbinger of the year ahead for the region and the country, were delivered Wednesday, Jan. 28 in downtown Norfolk.

Across Campus - A Photo Essay
In this week's gallery, Old Dominion researchers Larry Weinstein and Tom Hartlove can be seen working on a project to repurpose a 20-year-old Large Acceptance Detector (LAD) that was used at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab), in Newport News. Once finished, the LAD which is part of the lab's unique particle accelerator, known as the Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility (CEBAF) will be returned for use in a new project.
