ODU Dedicates New Strome College of Business
Standing in the shade of a white tent on Old Dominion University's Kaufman Mall Friday morning, California investment manager Mark Strome told a large gathering of dignitaries, including Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe and U.S. Sen. Mark Warner, why the Strome Family foundation that he and wife Tammy founded gifted $11 million to ODU to promote entrepreneurial education.

Threatened Corals Get Protection Thanks to ODU Scientists
A study led by Old Dominion University marine biologist Kent Carpenter has been credited with influencing the decision by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in August to list 20 corals as "threatened" under the Endangered Species Act (ESA).
