The painstaking research process being undertaken by a group of ODU engineering students will be worth it when they show their results this spring on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., as part of a competition sponsored by the Environmental Protection Agency.

Before the broadcast of the Winter Olympics closing ceremony Feb. 23, NBC aired a documentary to mark the 20th anniversary of the Nancy Kerrigan-Tonya Harding conflict that occurred prior to the 1994 Olympics. President Broderick Tapped as Vice Chair of C-USA Board of Directors
Conference USA announced recently that President John R. Broderick will serve as vice chair of the C-USA's board of directors, effective immediately. The board is composed of university presidents from the 14 institutions that will hold membership in the conference as of July 1, 2014.
CCPO Researchers Predict Ice Melt in Antarctic
The Ross Sea, a major, biologically productive Antarctic ecosystem, will be extensively modified by climate change in the coming decades as rising temperatures and changing wind patterns create longer periods of ice-free open water and affect the life cycles of both predators and prey, according to a paper published by Virginia researchers.
