Warner Makes Case for ODU Role in Testing Unmanned Aircraft Systems
Sen. Mark Warner says unmanned aircraft systems today hold the same potential to spur societal change that cellular telephones did 30 years ago. A coalition of Virginia universities, of which ODU is a member, is pivotal if Virginia's UAS test site is to be selected as a permanent FAA facility, Warner said Friday during a roundtable at the university's Innovation Research Park.
