Islam Fair

Find answers to questions about Islam. A wide variety of books will be available to learn about Islam. Free copies available. This is an opportunity to set aside misconceptions about the religion.

South Sudan, Abukloi and ODU Center for Global Health
Potomac/York River Rooms, Webb Center | 4:30pm-5:30pm
South Sudan suffers a lack of infrastructural development, serious health problems, and major destruction. The founder of Abukloi, Angelo Maker is one of the lost boys from South Sudan, an ODU alum, will speak about the needs of the region. After a short film, panelists will discuss the current situation in South Sudan and ODU's faculty and student involvement.

Persian Movie Night: No One Knows about the Persian Cats

The Movie is a 2009 Iranian film directed by Bahman Ghobadi produced by Wild Bunch. The film offers perspective of Iran as it explores its underground Rock scene. It won the Special Jury Prize Ex-aequo in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival.

Innovative Practices in International Education
