Students Affiliated with the Military (SAM) Schedules Kickoff Celebration

The Veterans and Students Affiliated with the Military (SAM) kickoff celebration is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, in the Student Success Center courtyard.

SAM is a peer educator program designed to provide academic, professional and transitional support to active-duty personnel, veterans, reservists, spouses and dependents. The program provides students with three different types of assistance: peer mentorship, peer tutoring and academic coaching.

SAM's mentors are students who are affiliated with the military as well as student veterans. The office is located in suite 1020 of the Student Success Center at Perry Library.
