Career Fair Set for Oct. 22; Immediate Family Members of Faculty and Staff Welcome
The Old Dominion University Fall Career Fair, scheduled for 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the Ted Constant Convocation Center, boasts 70-plus employers from a broad spectrum of industries, such as health care, shipping, IT, nonprofit and business. Employers are seeking ODU students, parents and alumni to fill jobs locally, nationally and internationally.
This event presents an opportunity for students, parents and alumni to seek employment, gain valuable experience in self-presentation and job search strategies, and network with recruiters.
"You will rarely find an opportunity to have this many employers from such a wide variety of industries in one room. All immediate family members of ODU students, alumni , faculty and staff are invited to the fair," said Tom Wunderlich, executive director of the ODU Career Management Center.
"In this time of economic uncertainty, if you do not need to attend please tell another alum, parent of an ODU student, ODU student or a family member about this great opportunity provided by CMC for the ODU community."
