ATTENDANCE

Attendance may be checked on any class day, and regular attendance is expected. Students are responsible for all materials (lectures and reading assignments) and will not have the opportunity to take missed written exams unless arrangements are made in advance, or in the case of an emergency. Proof of emergency may be requested.

On some occasions, pop quizzes or extra credit points may be given in class. Only those students in attendance will have the opportunity to earn those points. Make-ups on such quizzes or assignments will not be allowed.
