ENMA 605-Project Research Capstone Course

This course does not require class time

 

Course Overview:

A project-oriented course involving the application of engineering management, management science, and systems analysis tools to engineering and technology problems.

 

 

Course Objective:

To demonstrate capability in the identification, analysis, evaluation of alternatives, and implementation of solutions in an engineering and technology based environment.

 

Course Requirements and Expectations:

The following requirements are considered necessary to successfully complete the course:

 

Course Administration: This course is paperless. Class materials and submission of assignments will be executed electronically. The students are expected to have the capabilities (knowledge, skills, and tools) to use: e-mail, an internet browser, and the operating system Windows.

 

Course Communication: E-mail communication between the students and the professor must follow the following format:

 

 

Case Study: Students are required to complete a case study during this course individually. What is expected is an analysis and/or a solution of a problematic situation that is taken or took place in a specific engineering and technology based organization.

The student is encouraged to select a case from his/her work from which he/she can have easy access to data and information. The professor will not provide a case to the students.  Details of the content of the case study are going are provided at the end of this syllabus.
