Jessica McLaughlin joined the Mazzer group in the fall of 2008 as an undergraduate sophomore. Majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Philosophy and Biology, Jessica’s goal is to attend Medical School in 2012. She currently works part time teaching children to swim and she volunteers at CHKD on the weekends.
Currently her research includes, collecting cytotoxicity data of macrophage cells only hours after killing them with high concentrations of quinones, specifically napthoquinones. This data will be compared to the cytotoxicity levels of Macrophage cells after 24 hours of incubation.
