Course Planner

NOTE: THIS COURSE IS A HYBRID AND REQUIRES A GREAT DEAL OF ORGANIZATION ON YOUR PART. Since this course is part of the CCL Summer Institute, students registered for this course are required to attend the F2F component in June in addition to the BB components.

This course requires a great deal of preparation before the Summer Institute. Our face-to-face time during the Summer Institute will consist of instrument preparation and piloting, group assignments, and individual conferences with the course instructor. The majority of the post-summer institute time, then, will be spent actually conducting your evaluation. This means that completion of these modules in a timely manner is paramount to your success in this course.

May 8: Students required to have contacted the instructor by this date.

May 11: Class officially begins (although students are advised to review BB before this date)

May 13: Module 1 (under Intro & Assignments) must be finished.

May 14: Video-Conference meeting 5-7 pm (http://connect.odu.edu/programevaluation/) . Students need to have reviewed all items in Intro & Assign by this date at the latest.

May 15: Name of program being evaluated must be submitted by email to instructor for approval(mduggan@odu.edu) by this date.

May 19: Modules in Part 1 should be finished by this date. Final version of Documents Model due by this date.

May 22: Manager's Model due by this date.

May 26: Modules in Parts 2 & 3 should be finished by this date.Evaluable and Measurements Models due by this date,

May 30: Measurements Chart due by this date.

June 1: Modules 4.1 and 4.2 in Part 4 should be finished by this date. GANTT Chart due by this date.

June 1-5 F2F meetings in CCL Summer Institute

June 15: Critique of Program Evaluation Journal Article to be submitted via e-mail BY this date

June 20: Part I Manuscript to be submitted via email

July 15: Part II Manuscript to be submitted via email

August 1: Remaining modules to be completed by this date.

August 7: Final Manuscript to be submitted via e-mail. Powerpoint presentation of manuscript to be submitted via SUBMIT button in BB.
