Discussion Sections

Each student is required to enroll in a Discussion Section in addition to the Lectures held on Tuesday and Thursday.  The Discussion Sections are your chance to talk about the course readings and lectures with fellow students under the guidance of a Graduate Teaching Assistant.

Your Graduate Teaching Assistant is the person you should approach first with questions about the course content and grades. Problems not resolvable by the Teaching Assistant may then be referred to the course Professor. The Teaching Assistants are authorized to assign semester grades, under the supervision of the Professor.
