If the giraffe were reporting from Alabama for the Weather Channel, how would the giraffe report the severe weather (yellow)? What if the severe weather was occuring below the giraffe's head and the giraffe did not see it? The giraffe would report that the weather was perfect. But wait a minute. This is the Weather Channel, a reputable information. Would they give misleading information?
		The giraffe has been used to ask us to reconsider our perceptions of the news and information that we experience. Notice the conflict between the giraffe's report and the weather map. Yet they are both "accurate" based upon the eye's and the mind's perspective . Each provides an argument that is well supported with evidence.
