INTERNET ASSIGNMENT AND DISCUSSION

Assignment:  Analyzing the 2008 Presidential Election

Students will complete one (1) Internet assignment for this course.  The purpose of this exercise is to offer you the opportunity to conduct social science research on the presidency using "real" data and to present your findings to the class.  You will have two (2) weeks to complete the assignment.  The assignment will consist of XX topics with XX students responsible for one topic.  Students in each group will give an oral presentation about what he/she has learned.  In other words, students should focus on describing and analyzing the data that they have collected.

Note:  Missing the oral presentation without good cause will result in zero (0) points.  Partial credit for the oral presentation is at the discretion of the instructor.  In order to avoid a penalty, the instructor highly suggests that you start work on your assignments early rather than later.
