Glen Sussman University Professor of Political Science Glen Sussman received his Ph.D. in political science from Washington State University. He joined the faculty at Old Dominion University in 1992 where he teaches undergraduate courses in the field of American politics.  He also offers Global Environmental Policy for the Graduate Program in International Studies (GPIS).  He is working on a new course, the Politics and Science of Climate Change for GPIS. His  research focuses on environmental politics and policy, environmental opinion, science and environmental politics, and the environmental presidency. Dr. Sussman's scholarship includes 4 books and over 80 journal articles, book chapters, and professional papers.  He served two terms as chair of an eighteen member department, 2000-2006.
