MGMT 485W - BUSINESS STRATEGY AND POLICY

Credit Hours: 3
Pre-requisites - FIN 323, MGMT 325, and MKTG 311

This course introduces you to the complexities of the strategy formulation and implementation process.  It is divided into different topic areas.  We will discuss the basic concepts underlying each topic area.  Additionally, we will discuss cases and examples that describe how a real organization confronted successfully (or unsuccessfully) the issues covered in the topic. One final objective of the course is to help students recognize and analyze ethical dilemmas and select a resolution for practical business situations.
