The Old Dominion University Police Department's Investigations Division consists of one detective lieutenant, one detective sergeant and four police detectives.

The Investigations Division actively investigates all crimes that occur on the Old Dominion University Campus, and assists City of Norfolk, Police Department Investigators with cases that occur in the area of concurrent jurisdiction.

The Investigations Division also conducts all surveillance operations and undercover police activities, and provides fingerprinting for students, faculty and staff for job applications or identification purposes.

All Campus Crime Statistics are tabulated by the Investigations Division, as is the Daily Crime and Fire Log, which is updated on a regular basis, and provides information regarding the latest criminal activity on the campus and in surrounding areas.

If you would like to know more about the Investigations Division, please contact us at (757) 683-3492 and ask to speak with one of our police detectives.
