Mission Trip

           Missions is very important to the BCM. We want to serve our community and show the world the same love that Christ showed us. For this reason, every year we aim to serve. Three years ago, students used their spring break to rebuild homes in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Last year we went to the Atlanta where we worked with the homeless and impoverished.  We also do local missions around ODU and Hampton Roads througout the.

Every year our BCM raises money to allow students to serve during the summer.  BCM sponsors several fundraising events to help meet our goal. Fundraisers include working at Busch Gardens, the Valentine's Auction, Rockathon, PennyWars, Football Game Parking and more.

We hope that you will help serve with us. We are always looking for new opportunities to serve the campus, the community and the world.

 Nicaragua

We are planning a mission trip to Nicaragua for early June.  We will be collecting clothes and shoes
to be given out as well as participating in a Watermelon ministry.  The purpose is to meet the basic
needs of the people in that area.  If you are interested please plan to attend an informational meeting
Thursday September 17 immediately after lunch.  The cost of the trip is $1350 and we will do fundraising 
to assist with the costs.
