Charles J. Cralle', CPCU, ARM
Senior Vice President
USI Insurance Services

Mr. Cralle’ is currently a senior vice president with USI whose focus is on the servicing of larger commercial accounts for property and casually needs .He has been in the insurance business for over 40 years. He has previous work experience with the Ware Company, Henderson and Phillips, and Aetna Casualty and Surety Company. Mr Cralle’ is active in the IIAV, CPCU and RIMS organizations.

Sandra Kimerle, AAI, CIC, CPIW

Vice President

USI Insurance Services

 

Sandra is the Marketing Department manager for USI Insurance Services.  This department is primarily responsible for the placement of commercial insurance accounts and carrier relations.  She has been with USI and it predecessor company, Henderson & Phillips Inc. for 26 years.  She is an active member of the National Association of Insurance Women, International.  She serves on the agents advisory councils for CNA and Harleysville.

Michael J. Lombardo
Risk Administrator

Mike manages all risk management programs for both City and Public Schools with a staff of three with $6M insurance budget including property, auto and general liability, fiduciary, excess state workers’ compensation, fidelity, and travel/accident for both City and Public Schools. Mr. Lombardo previously worked as a corporate risk manager at the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) where he managed a staff of six with $38M self-insured reserve covering medical, life and disability plans, general and auto liability and workers’ compensation under the US Longshore Act and insured programs of over $3M in premiums, including catastrophic property, fidelity, fiduciary, surety, travel/accident.

Charles S. Nusbaum, CPCU

Charlie oversees production and sales at S.L. Nusbaum Insurance Agency. Charlie earned a Masters of Insurance from Georgia State University in 1980. He is a member CPCU Society, Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia, and is Past Chairman of Insurance and Financial Services advisory Board. He has also held leadership positions with the Independent Insurance Agents of Tidewater, the Norfolk Academy Alumni Association, Norfolk Crime Line, and the Red Cross.


James (Jim) S. Parker, CLU, ChFC, LUTCF, AEP, RFC

Before entering the Financial Services Profession in 1966, Jim was an Army Officer in the 29th Infantry Division. His primary business activities include retirement planning, estate planning, and executive compensation planning. He is enrolled in Graduate School (The American College) for the Masters of Science In Financial Planning. Jim is Past President of the Norfolk-Tidewater Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP), currently a director on the National Board of the SFSP, serves as Mid-East Regional Liaison of the SFSP.

Steven L. Reardon, CPCU

Steve has been in the insurance business since 1976, the last 23 years with USI and its predecessor company, Henderson & Phillips Insurance. He has commerical lines operational responsibilities in addition to relationship management responsibilities with property and casualty insurance carriers. He is also a member of the Society of CPCU and the Independent Insurance Agents of America

Bruce Rubin, PhD
Professor of Finance: Director of the Insurance and Financial Services Center
Old Dominion University
                                                 

Bruce has been a member of the Finance Department at Old Dominion University since 1981. He has served as chairman of the Finance Department, interim dean of the College of Business and Public Administration, and is currently director of the MBA program. He is also the executive director of the Economics Club of Hampton Roads and the director of the Insurance and Financial Services Center. Bruce helped design the original financial planning program and has taught for the program since its beginning in 1983. Bruce received his bachelor’s degree from New York University and his master’s and doctorate from Case Western University. He was previously on the faculty of the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
