LISA COSTON, VOICE

Lisa Coston, a well known area performer, has worked with the Virginia Symphony Chorus, Virginia Chorale, Creo Chamber Ensemble, and has performed at Lincoln Center with the Buffalo Philharmonic, the University of Iowa, as well as the Louisiana Philharmonic. She is a member of NATS and specializes in foreign language study and coaching including Italian, German, French, Russian, Hebrew, Arabic and African dialects. Lisa also specializes in vocal health, vocal performance and opera.

DAVID WARREN, VOICE

David S. Warren is a music educator with more than thirty years experience as a singer, choral director and teacher of applied voice. He holds the Bachelor of Music degree from the School of Music at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, and has done more than 40 additional hours of graduate study at Old Dominion University, The College of St. Catherine, St. John's University (MN), Elon University, Norfolk State University, Hampton University, James Madison University and George Mason University. He worked as a choral director at the high school and middle school levels for Portsmouth (VA) Public Schools until his retirement in 2001. Mr. Warren has sung extensively as a member of the Virginia Opera Chorus and the Virginia Symphony Chorus, as well as many other choral organizations, and has held numerous professional church choir positions. His principal voice studies have been with Sandra Watson Nicholson, Clifford Bair and Genevieve McGiffert. His conducting studies have been with George Knight, Charles Moore, Axel Theimer, Cheryl Dupont, Edith Copley and Lisa Billingham. He is an active member of The Voice Care Network, American Choral Directors Association, Chorus America, Association for Choral Music Education, and the Music Educators National Conference. Currently he also serves as adjunct instructor of music at Tidewater Community College (Portsmouth, VA campus), where he teaches applied voice, choral music, conducting and music history. Mr. Warren also serves is the baritone section leader/soloist and associate choir director at Larchmont United Methodist Church in Norfolk, VA.

Suzanne McGuire- Voice



Has been singing professionally while finishing her degree in vocal performance at Old Dominion University. Ms. McGuire is the recipient of three vocal scholarships at Old Dominion and has been a soloist for the Concert Choir, Jazz Choir and Opera Workshop. She spent the summer of 2006 in Rome performing with the Operafestival di Roma where she was a soloist and chorus member. Ms. McGuire is currently the alto soloist for Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church and sings for private events.
