Assistant Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, received a Ph.D., M.S. and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, in 2010, 2007 and 2005 respectively, from Virginia Tech. Previously he was a Post-Doctoral Research Officer in the College of Engineering at Swansea University, UK.
Dr. Vukica Jovanovic
Assistant Professor of Engineering Technology, received a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering Technology in 2010 from Purdue University and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering and a Dipl.ing-Master in Industrial Engineering, in 2006 and 2001 respectively, from the University of Novi Sad, Serbia. Previously she was an Assistant Professor at Trine University.
Ms. Amy M. Kitts
Lecturer of Engineering Technology, received an M.E. and B.S. in Civil Engineering, in 2002 and 2001 respectively, from Virginia Tech. Previously she was a Faculty Associate in the Department of Engineering Technology at the University of North Carolina Charlotte.
Dr. Michael Kong
Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Batten Endowed Chair in Bioelectrics, received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 1992 from the University of Liverpool and an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Physical Electronics, in 1987 and 1984 respectively, from Zhejiang University. Previously he was Chair in Bioelectrics Engineering in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Loughborough University, UK.
Dr. Gangfeng Ma
Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering, received a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering in 2012 from the University of Delaware and an M.S. and B.S., in 2006 and 2003 respectively, from Tongji University, Shanghai, China. Previously he was a Research Assistant in the Center for Applied Coastal Research at the University of Delaware.
Dr. Bharat B. Madan
Professor of Modeling, Simulation and Visualization Engineering, received a Ph.D. and an M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, in 1976 and 1972 respectively, from Indian Institute of Technology and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from BITS Pilani, India. Previously he was a Senior Research Associate and Head of the Distributed Systems Department in the Information Science and Technology Division at Penn State University.
Dr. Michael W. Seek
Assistant Professor of Engineering Technology, received a Ph.D. and M.S. in Civil Engineering: Structures and a B.S. in Civil Engineering, in 2007, 2005, and 1998 respectively, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Previously he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Technology at East Tennessee State University.
Dr. Masha Sosonkina
Professor of Modeling, Simulation and Visualization Engineering, received a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Applications in 1997 from Virginia Tech and an M.S. and B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Kiev National University, Ukraine. Previously she was a Scientist II in the Ames Laboratory, U. S. Department of Energy and an Adjunct Associate Professor at Iowa State University.
