Ms. Angela L. Brown

Instructor of Accounting, received an M.B.A. in 1998 from Northern Illinois University, a B.S.B.A. in Accounting in 1986 from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and is expected to receive a Ph.D. in Human Science from Saybrook University. Previously she was Assistant Professor in Finance and Accounting at Regis University.

Mr. Kelvin Brown

Assistant Director for Undergraduate Advising, received a Master of Science in Postsecondary Education - Instructional Technology in 2009 from Troy State University and a B.S. in Criminal Justice in 1995 from Elizabeth City State University. Previously he was Interim Director for the Gateway to College Program at the College of the Albermarle.

Dr. Bruce I. Davidson

Assistant Professor of Accounting, received a Ph.D. in Accounting in 2010 from Florida State University and a Master of Accountancy and a B.S. in Accounting, in 1996 and 1994 respectively, from the University of South Florida. Previously he was an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Eastern Washington University.

Dr. Meagan M. Jordan

Associate Professor of Urban Studies and Public Administration, received a Ph.D. in Public Administration in 1999 from the University of Kentucky, an M.P.A. in Public Administration in 1995 from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a B.A. in Economics in 1993 from Austin College. Previously she was an Associate Professor in the Institute of Government at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Dr. Stephen E. Lanivich

Assistant Professor of Management, received a Ph.D. in Business Administration in 2011 from Florida State University and an M.A. in Economics and a B.B.A. in Finance, in 2007 and 2005 respectively, from Walsh College of Business. Previously he was a Research/Teaching Assistant in the Department of Management, College of Business at Florida State University.

Mr. James Lant

Instructor of Management, received an M.P.A., an M.B.A. in Finance and a B.S. in Economics from Old Dominion University. He has been Principal of Turtle Bay Management Co., Inc., has 25 years experience in private sector enterprises, and was an Adjunct Faculty member at several colleges.

Dr. Yoshie Saito Lord

Assistant Professor of Accounting, received a Ph.D. in 2006 from Temple University, an M.S. in Agricultural and Applied Economics in 1999 from the University of Georgia, an M.B.A. in 1993 from Georgia College and a B.A. in 1989 from Nihon University, Tokyo, Japan. Previously she was an Assistant Professor at Eastern Illinois University.

Dr. Timothy M. Madden

Assistant Professor of Management, received a Ph.D. in Organizations and Strategy in 2012 from the University of Tennessee - Knoxville and a Masters and Bachelors of Business Administration, in 2008 and 2003 respectively, from James Madison University. Previously he taught and was a Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee.

Mr. Vijay Mali

Instructor or Marketing, received an M.S. in Mass Communications in 2003 from Virginia Commonwealth University and an M.B.A. in Marketing and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, in 2000 and 1997 respectively, from the University of Bombay. Previously he was an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Marketing at Old Dominion University and a Freelance Marketing Consultant.

Dr. Gary A. Wagner

Professor of Economics, received a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Economics, in 1999 and 1998 respectively, from West Virginia University and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science in 1995 from Youngstown State University. Previously he was a Professor of Economics at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Dr. Jing Zhang

Assistant Professor of Management, received a Ph.D. in 2004 from the Business Policy Department, National University of Singapore and an M.A. and B.A., in 1999 and 1996 respectively, from Renmin University of China. Previously she was Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at Iowa State University.

Dr. Weiyong Zhang

Assistant Professor of Information Technology and Decision Sciences, received a Ph.D. in Business Administration in 2006 from the University of Minnesota and an M.S. and B.S. in Management Information System, in 1996 and 1993 respectively, from Fudan University, Shanghai, China. Previously he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management, School of Business at Virginia Commonwealth University.
