More than 85,000 people living across the United States and throughout the world can proudly trace their academic roots to Old Dominion University. Alumni are joined by parents, friends, corporations, businesses and foundations in their support of Old Dominion. Thanks to the generosity of so many, the University completed its first-ever Capital Campaign in 2001 by raising nearly $60 million. A second $100 million campaign is expected to be formally announced soon. A $32 million gift in 2003 from former Board Rector and Landmark Communications founder Frank Batten is the largest single gift ever received by Old Dominion.
